El Matador
Rafael Nadal is a professional player. I started watching him in 2005 by sport programs. The story of my love with Nadal is historical. When I was watching tennis for first time I wanted to pick a player to support in the bad and good times. On that time, Roger Federer was the one who controls the sport and most of the tennis fans were loving and supporting him. I didn't like to be like the majority, so I researched for a young player who can stop the domination of Federer. In the beginning, Nadal and his fans suffered the consecutive defeats from Federer. That would cost Nadal losing the confident. However, Nadal was one of the people who get stronger faith after every fall. That is represented in their confrontation in Wimbledon. In 2006, Federer beat Nadal easily, but in 2007, the win was much harder than the previous year. In 2008, the miracle occurred and Nadal did defeat Federer in his favorite championship. Today, Nadal is leading the Tennis Ranking and became the most famous player in the sport.
In this picture, I can feel how difficult it was to break Federer's domination. The way that he celebrated, and the torrential tears were signs of how historical this picture is.
